The lecturers at ITB Asia Malang were very helpful and patient in guiding me to understand the course material. I am grateful that I took the Management Study Program and learned a lot about communication science as well, so that now I can work as a Public Relations Officer at the Ministry of Agriculture's Polbangtan.

I have gone through intense competition in finding work, failure, and periods of self-doubt. However, the knowledge, guidance, and mindset I gained during my studies at ITB Asia Malang enabled me to keep moving forward. The university not only taught me theory, but also shaped me to be resilient and ready to face the challenges of the working world. Today, being at PT. Freeport Indonesia is proof that hard work and perseverance never fail to deliver results.

I never imagined that my journey from ITB Asia Malang would lead me to a career at the Secretariat of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia. The campus gave me more than just knowledge—it taught me discipline, critical thinking, and how to face challenges.

In accordance with Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System and the Laws of the Republic of Indonesia. This regulation mandates the government to provide the widest possible opportunities for every individual to pursue formal education or lifelong learning. In accordance with existing regulations, five undergraduate programs at the Asian Institute of Technology and Business in Malang accept new students through RPL Type A through RPL.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) aims to provide opportunities for the wider community who have previously learned through informal/non-formal/work experience to enter the formal education system.
People can use RPL to continue their formal education (type A) to apply for credit exemptions (credits) for their learning achievements or work experience to continue their education to a higher level, so that they don't have to take all the credits. After completing the remaining credits at the university, the individual can get a diploma.
RPL Credit Transfer is the recognition of the applicant's (prospective student) learning experience obtained from formal education in the past, namely from any study program at another university or from the same university with a different study program or transfer from a diploma 2 and diploma 3 program to a bachelor's program at the Asian Institute of Technology and Business in Malang.
RPL assessments of formal education are carried out by evaluating transcripts from previous education by the head of the study program/appointed assessor.
The requirements for RPL applicants from formal education to continue their studies are to have graduated from formal education at least at the high school level or equivalent and to have pursued academic or vocational higher education.
Credit Acquisition RPL is the recognition of learning experiences from non-formal, informal, and/or work experiences to continue studying at a university to obtain partial exemption from semester credit units (sks). This type of RPL facilitates the community to be able to pursue education at the Asian Institute of Technology and Business in Malang by submitting the learning outcomes they have obtained through non-formal, informal, and/or work experiences. Examples include obtaining competency certificates, certificates of training completion, letters of recommendation from their place of work, and others.
